Our lil monsters
We visited the nurses of the NICU at Hartford Hospital and North 8 (where I spent my long stay in 2009) in costume. Courtney was Cookie Monster and Bella was Elmo. We brought homemade baked goods and candy for the nurses and everyone took lots of pictures. The girls even visited a patient and brought a smile to her face.

We drove about 24 hrs in 3 days, but it was totally worth it. A weekend was spent with family at the beach, the girls got to go to the beach for the first time and loved it, and most importantly we were there for my baby cousin to get married. A wonderful weekend and we may have found our new yearly vacation spot!
